The 'Thumb'

The most interesting digit we possess (in fact, Indian Palmists tell us that the whole of ones Character can be 'read' from the Thumb alone). In keeping with our theme of what wearing a ring on each finger tells us when we come to the Thumb it tells a fascinating story.

Wearing a ring here often indicates someone so 'self-centred' or 'wrapped up' in themselves they have no time for anyone else!

If you're really observant you'll notice more and more of the younger generation are wearing rings on their thumbs!

Does the thumb stand straight or, bend backwards? The Thumb is about your willpower and sense of self - linked to Pluto and those of a Scorpionic nature! Check out the sign from the icon to the right.

Here's something to think about, without using your thumb try doing some everyday tasks and you'll come to realise that this is the most important digit we possess - giving us four fingers and a thumb! To lose our thumb is to lose a major part of our SELVES and when you consider those in the military who salute their commanding officer the thumb is hidden.

When you see someone sucking their thumb you know their looking for some protection or inner strength from their environment. In ancient Rome the Emperor gave the Thumbs up for life and the Thumbs down for death, think about it.
